Nutella Stuffed Croissants

While visiting my Aunt Monica in California, she introduced my friends and I to the most amazing breakfast treat in the world (Thanks Aunt Mon! xo). Listen to me, you have not lived until you’ve tried Nutella Croissants! We are all about healthy living here at Simply Necessary and we believe that periodically indulging is very important to your overall health & wellness. Trust us, these croissants will make your soul happy. Here’s the quick and simple recipe.

Step 1: Go get yourself a jar of Nutella and some croissant dough from your local supermarket (or if your super nifty in the kitchen make your own dough). Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2: Scoop out one teaspoon of Nutella from the jar and place it towards the wider side of the croissant dough (you can also add chocolate chips/marshmallows/blueberries etc.).

Step 3: Carefully roll the dough into mini croissants & space them out appropriately on the baking sheet.

Step 4: Cook croissants for 25-30 minutes (or until golden brown).

Step 5: Enjoy your new favorite guilty pleasure, hot out of the oven!

*Warning: When baking be sure to have friends over, or you will be tempted to eat them all by yourself.

**Side Note: I bought Stop & Shop brand croissant dough. It did not effect the taste at all, however, it was really thin and a pain to unravel from the can. I lost two croissants in the process of unraveling. Next time I’ll pay the extra dollar for Pillsbury.
